Even if you are going to pay someone to complete the project, everything requires more. If you plan on watering your grass, your water bill will be much more on a larger lot.
Curb appeal with a home on a larger lot can also be a drawback, even though it is at times a great benefit. If you fail to up with your yard, it may amplify the unattractiveness of your house. This can affect your home value. Living on a large lot requires a lot more responsibility.
